LEAP
Life-cycle Economic and environmental Analysis of Infrastructure Projects
Decision Support Software
LEAP is designed as a scenario based decision support tool for the planning, construction, operation and decommissioning of infrastructure projects.
Stakeholder engagement is facilitated, resulting in transparent presentation of information to all stakeholders.
Whole Project Life Cycle
LEAP enables the assessment of economic and environmental impacts over the complete project life cycle: construction, operation and decommissioning. LEAP is a powerful tool for any infrastructure project, large or small, whether geographically spread or local.
One of LEAPs unique strengths is its ability to supply management and decision making information about local impacts such as noise and visual impact, as well as related economic impacts. The tool can therefore be applied within industries where the construction, operation and maintenance of assets and infrastructure over long distances is important - such as power, oil, gas, or water distribution, power generation, and road/rail construction and maintenance. It can also be applied to fixed infrastructure, and is particularly suited to PPP and PFI project tenders and long-term management.
LEETS is a version of the LEAP framework, specifically optimized for Transmission System Operators.
