Instrumentation

GnoSys develops instruments for use both in the laboratory and in the field. These carry the name TranSpec™. We also develop our own software to control this instrumentation and to interface with it when carrying out an analysis.

TransChem™ is the software environment in which TranSpec™ operates. The software includes a number of functions, including spectrometer operation and configuration, remote controlled scanning from the probe, and the use of chemometrics routines for on-line prediction of sample properties using calibration models that are installed on the system. The calibration models are specific to the particular sample type (for example, paper or plastics).
